Crolom (cromolyn sodium) is a mast cell stabilizer, which acts as an anti-inflammatory medication, used to treat allergy symptoms that affect the eyes, such as itching, burning, watering, swelling, redness, or sensitivity to light. Crolom is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and
- severe burning, stinging, or irritation in the eyes
