Xalkori (crizotinib)
type of Antineoplastic Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors, Antineoplastics, Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase Inhibitors
Xalkori (crizotinib) is an oral receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- dark urine,
- clay-colored stools, and
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- fever,
- easy bruising,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- tiredness,
- fluttering in your chest,
- blurred vision,
- wheezing,
- unusual bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums),
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- sudden dizziness,
- painful mouth sores,
- swollen gums,
- cold or flu symptoms,
- cough with mucus,
- sudden chest pain or discomfort,
- dry cough,
- double vision,
- increased sensitivity to light,
- very slow heartbeats,
- pain when swallowing,
- vision loss,
- seeing flashes of light or “floaters”,
