Crixivan (indinavir sulfate)

Crixivan (indinavir sulfate) is a type of antiviral medication called a protease inhibitor used to treat HIV, which causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Crixivan is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- night sweats,
- shortness of breath,
- weight loss,
- confusion,
- stomach pain,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- chest pain,
- blurred vision,
- dry mouth,
- rapid heart rate,
- wheezing,
- weakness,
- unusual tiredness,
- increased thirst,
- increased urination,
- fruity breath odor,
- painful or difficult urination,
- unexplained muscle pain,
- dark colored urine,
- mouth sores,
- drowsiness,
- anxiety,
- irritableness,
- hunger,
- dry skin,
- pale or yellowed skin,
- dry cough,
- blood in your urine,
- tired feeling,
- tenderness,
- clay-colored stool,
- cold sores,
- trouble speaking or swallowing,
- weakness or prickly feeling,
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- sores on your genital or anal area,
- severe lower back pain,
- loss of bladder or bowel control,
- menstrual changes,
- impotence, and
- loss of interest in sex
- pain in your side or lower back,
- weakness with fever,
- problems or eye movement,
