Cotempla XR-ODT (methylphenidate extended-release orally disintegrating tablets) is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in pediatric patients 6 to 17 years of age.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- itching,
- rash,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- chest pain,
- seizure,
- blurred vision,
- fainting,
- agitation,
- mood changes,
- aggression,
- unusual wounds on the fingers or toes,
- abnormal thoughts,
- thoughts of suicide,
- unusual sweating,
- weakness on one side of the body,
- severe dizziness, and
- trouble breathing
- vision changes,
- trouble speaking,
- mood swings,
- uncontrolled muscle movements,
- coldness in the fingers or toes,
- numbness or pain in the fingers or toes,
- skin color changes in the fingers or toes,
- fast, pounding or irregular heartbeats,v
- sudden outbursts of words or sounds,
- jaw or left arm pain,
- painful or prolonged penis erection lasting over 4 hours,
- swelling of the face, tongue, or throat,
