Cortisporin Ophthalmic Ointment (neomycin and polymyxin B sulfates, bacitracin zinc, and hydrocortisone) is a combination of antibiotics and a steroid used for steroid- responsive inflammatory ocular (eye) conditions for which a corticosteroid is indicated and where bacterial infection or a risk of bacterial infection exists. The brand name Cortisporin Ophthalmic Ointment is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• swelling
• eye itching
• irritation, and
• infection
