Cortisporin Ointment (neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates, bacitracin zinc, and hydrocortisone)

Cortisporin Ointment (neomycin and polymyxin B sulfates, bacitracin zinc, and hydrocortisone) is a topical (for the skin) combination of antibiotics and a corticosteroid used to treat bacterial skin infections. Cortisporin Ointment will not work for other types of skin infections (e.g., infections caused by fungi, viruses).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- itching
- redness
- irritation
- stinging
- dryness
- skin burning
- scaling, or
- sores
