Constulose (lactulose solution, usp 10 g/15 ml)

Constulose (lactulose solution) is a colonic acidifier which promotes laxation indicated for the treatment of constipation.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- diarrhea,
- nausea, and
- temporary gas and intestinal cramps,
- vomiting.
The following drugs are related to Constulose, either as a replacement or used together:
- Lotronex (alosetron hydrochloride)
- Alosetron Hydrochloride Tablets (alosetron hydrochloride)
- Dulcolax (bisacodyl suppositories)
- Kristalose (kristalose lactulose oral solution)
- Linzess (linaclotide capsules)
- Suflave (polyethylene glycol 3350, sodium sulfate, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, and sodium chloride)
- Zelnorm (tegaserod maleate)
