Complera (emtricitabine/rilpivirine/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate) is a combination of three antiviral compounds used as a complete regimen for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults that have had no prior antiviral treatments. Complera provides a complete treatment for HIV infection. Do not take other HIV medicines with Complera.

The drug is often used to treat HIV .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • new or worsening renal impairment,
  • depressive disorders, and
  • decreases in bone density
