CoLyte (polyethylene glycol and electrolytes solution)
type of Laxatives, Osmotic
Colyte (peg-3350 & electrolytes) for Oral Solution is a colon lavage preparation indicated for bowel cleansing prior to colonoscopy or barium enema X-ray examination.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- gas,
- nausea, or
- bloating,
- stomach pain or cramps,
- feelings of fullness in the stomach/abdomen,
- no bowel movement within two hours after use,
- rectal pain or irritation,
- gagging.
