Xiaflex (collagenase Clostridium histolyticum) is a nonsurgical enzyme treatment derived from Clostridium histolyticum bacteria for adults with Dupuytren's contracture when a cord can be felt. Xiaflex is available in a generic form as collagenase Clostridium histolyticum.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • chills,
  • chest pain,
  • numbness,
  • tingling,
  • redness or swelling,
  • blood in the urine,
  • lightheadedness
  • severe pain,
  • increased pain,
  • trouble bending your finger toward your wrist, and
  • new or worsened movement problems in your treated hand,
  • bruising and swelling of your penis,
  • pain when you urine,
  • sudden erection problems,
  • popping sound or sensation in your penis during an erection,
  • other irritation, and
