Gyne-Lotrimin (clotrimazole vaginal cream) is an antifungal medication used to treat vaginal candida (yeast) infections. Gyne-Lotrimin is available over-the-counter and in generic versions.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your tongue, or throat,
• severe blistering of treated skin,
• swelling, redness or oozing, and
• severe burning, itching or other irritation
