Lotrisone (clotrimazole and betamethasone)

type of Antifungal/Corticosteroid Topicals

Lotrisone (clotrimazole and betamethasone) is a combination of an antifungal antibiotic and a topical steroid cream or lotion used to treat or prevent fungal infections of the skin such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm, and to reduce itching, swelling, and redness of the skin.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• itching,
• dry skin,
• skin irritation,
• changes in skin color,
• increased acne,
• burning/tingling/stinging skin, or
• scarring or thinning of the skin.

• Clindagel Topical Gel (clindamycin phosphate)
• Sporanox (itraconazole capsules)
• Onmel (itraconazole oral administration)
• Nizoral (ketoconazole)
• Ketoconazole Cream (ketoconazole cream)
