Temovate (clobetasol propionate) Gel, 0.05% is a topical (for the skin) steroid used to treat the inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. Temovate Gel is available in generic form.

The drug is often used to treat Psoriasis .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• itching,
• burning,
• redness,
• stinging,
• dryness,
• skin rash at the application site when first applied to the skin.
