Tovet (clobetasol propionate foam)

Tovet (clobetasol propionate) Foam is a corticosteroid used on the skin (topical) to treat people 12 years of age and older with certain skin conditions that cause red, flaky, and itchy skin.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• spider veins,
• acne,
• sores around the mouth,
• allergic contact dermatitis,
• “hair bumps” (folliculitis),
• application site reactions (burning, itching, irritation, dryness),
• skin thinning, stretch marks,
• skin lightening (hypopigmentation),
• secondary infection, and
• heat rash.
