Clindesse (clindamycin phosphate) is an antibiotic is used to treat a certain type of vaginal infection (bacterial vaginosis) in women who are not pregnant.

The drug is often used to treat Bacterial vaginosis .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • abdominal pain,
  • severe dizziness
  • vaginal discomfort, burning, itching, or discharge,
  • changes in vaginal discharge,
  • new vaginal symptoms,
  • persistent diarrhea (may occur weeks or months after treatment has stopped),
  • stomach cramping,
  • blood or mucus in your stool, and
