Clarinex (desloratadine)

Clarinex (desloratadine) is an antihistamine used to treat the symptoms of allergies, such as sneezing, watery eyes, and runny nose. Clarinex is also used to treat skin hives and itching in people with chronic skin reactions. Clarinex is available over-the-counter and in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat,
