Renacidin (citric acid, glucono-delta-lactone and magnesium carbonate) Irrigation is a sterile irrigating solution used to remove kidney stones. Renacidin is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • rash,
  • fever,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • wheezing,
  • fainting,
  • red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever,
  • tightness in the chest or throat,
  • difficulty swallowing or talking,
  • unusual hoarseness,
  • upset stomach,
  • severe dizziness,
  • cloudy or pink urine,
  • frequent need to urinate,
  • stomach or pelvic pain,
  • feeling sluggish,
  • lower back or side pain, and
  • bladder irritation
