Platinol (cisplatin) for Injection is a cancer medication used together with other medications to treat bladder cancer testicular cancer or ovarian cancer. The brand name Platinol is discontinued but generic versions may be available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- decreased sense of taste
- nausea
- vomiting
- tired feeling
- temporary hair loss
- or pain
- swelling
- burning or
- irritation around the IV needle.
