Pombiliti (cipaglucosidase alfa-atga for injection)

Pombiliti (cipaglucosidase alfa-atga) is a hydrolytic lysosomal glycogen-specific enzyme indicated, in combination with Opfolda, an enzyme stabilizer, for the treatment of adult patients with late-onset Pompe disease (lysosomal acid alpha-glucosidase [GAA] deficiency) weighing 40 kg or more and who are not improving on their current enzyme replacement therapy (ERT).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • itching,
  • rash,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chills,
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • fatigue,
  • flushing,
  • abdominal pain,
  • muscle spasms,
  • bloating,
  • changes in taste,
  • fast heart rate, and
  • hives.
The following drugs are related to Pombiliti, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Lumizyme (alglucosidase alfa)
  • Nexviazyme (avalglucosidase alfa-ngpt for injection)
  • Opfolda (miglustat capsules)
