Cinobac (cinoxacin)

Cinobac (cinoxacin) is an antibiotic used to treat initial and recurrent urinary tract infections in adults caused by the following susceptible microorganisms: Escherichia coli Proteus mirabilis Proteus vulgaris Klebsiella species (including K.pneumoniae) and Enterobacter species. The brand name Cinobac is discontinued but generic versions may be available.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea
- headache
- dizziness
- rash
- itching
- hives
- abdominal pain i
- nsomnia
- drowsiness
- tingling sensation
- sensitivity of eyes to light
- burning sensation in the groin area,
- and ringing in the ears
