Clorotekal (chloroprocaine hydrochloride) is an ester local anesthetic indicated for intrathecal injection in adults for the production of subarachnoid block (spinal anesthesia).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- procedural pain,
- injection site pain, and
- low blood pressure (hypotension).
