Hibiclens (chlorhexidine gluconate solution) is an antiseptic indicated as an antimicrobial skin cleanser helps reduce bacteria that potentially can cause disease, for skin wound and general skin cleansing, as a surgical hand scrub, and as a healthcare personnel handwash.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- severe allergic reaction (wheezing/difficulty breathing, shock, facial swelling, hives, and rash).
