Periogard (chlorhexidine gluconate oral rinse)

Periogard (chlorhexidine gluconate oral rinse, 0.12%) is an antiseptic indicated for use between dental visits as part of a professional program for the treatment of gingivitis as characterized by redness and swelling of the gingivae, including gingival bleeding upon probing.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• changes in taste,
• an increase in staining of teeth and other oral surfaces,
• an increase in tartar,
• oral irritation, and
• local allergy-type symptoms

• Peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate 0.12% oral rinse)
• Paroex (chlorhexidine gluconate oral rinse)
• Vicodin (hydrocodone and acetaminophen)
• Vicoprofen (hydrocodone and ibuprofen)
• Vicodin ES (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen)
• Vicodin HP (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets)
• Oraqix (lidocaine and prilocaine periodontal gel)
• Oralone (triamcinolone acetonide dental paste)
