ChiRhoStim (human secretin)

ChiRhoStim (Human Secretin) Injection is a gastrointestinal peptide hormone used for stimulation of pancreatic secretions, including bicarbonate, to aid in the diagnosis of pancreatic exocrine dysfunction; stimulation of gastrin secretion to aid in the diagnosis of gastrinoma; and facilitation of the identification of the ampulla of Vater and accessory papilla during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing, and
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat
