Cerezyme (imiglucerase)

Cerezyme (imiglucerase) Injection is a man-made form of the beta-glucocerebrosidase protein used to treat those who have a deficiency of beta-glucocerebrosidase (Gaucher disease) that causes anemia, low platelet count, bone disease, enlargement of the liver, or enlargement of the spleen.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• itching,
• fever,
• lightheadedness,
• chills,
• chest pain,
• dizziness,
• wheezing,
• sweating,
• cough,
• shortness of breath, and
• flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling),
• cough with yellow or green mucus,
• stabbing chest pain,
• worsening or no improvement in your Gaucher disease symptoms

• Acova (argatroban)
• Cerdelga (eiglustat capsules)
• Elelyso (taliglucerase alfa)
• Zavesca (miglustat)
• VPRIV (velaglucerase alfa for injection)
