Ceretec (technetium tc99m exametazime injection)

Ceretec Kit for the Preparation of Technetium Tc99m Exametazime Injection Diagnostic Radiopharmaceutical for Intravenous Use Only is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical used as an adjunct in the detection of altered regional cerebral perfusion in stroke. Ceretec Kit is also used for leukocyte labeled scintigraphy as an adjunct in the localization of intra-abdominal infection and inflammatory bowel disease.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- itching,
- rash,
- dizziness,
- severe headache,
- fever
- wheezing,
- fainting,
- vision changes,
- red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever,
- tightness in the chest or throat,
- unusual hoarseness,
- trouble swallowing or talking,
- burning, numbness, or tingling, and
