Ceptaz (ceftazidime) Injection is an antibiotic used to treat infections caused by certain types of bacteria. Ceptaz is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- confusion,
- seizure,
- severe stomach pain,
- diarrhea that is watery or blood,
- problems with speech or memory,
- cold feeling in your fingers, and
- discoloration or skin changes in your fingers
