Cefzil (cefprozil)

Cefzil (cefprozil) is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria. Cefzil is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- stomach pain,
- restlessness,
- itching or skin rash,
- vaginal itching or discharge, or
- stiff or tight muscles,
- hyperactivity,
- unusual or unpleasant taste in your mouth,
- diaper rash in an infant taking liquid cefprozil.
