Fetroja (cefiderocol for injection)

Fetroja (cefiderocol) is a cephalosporin antibacterial used to treat patients 18 years of age or older who have limited or no alternative treatment options, for the treatment of complicated urinary tract infections (cUTI), including pyelonephritis caused by susceptible Gram-negative microorganisms.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- fluttering in your chest,
- seizure,
- constipation,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- severe stomach pain,
- irregular heartbeats,
- tremor,
- increased thirst or urination,
- burning in your eyes,
- diarrhea that is watery or bloody (even if it occurs months after your last dose),
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- leg cramps,
- numbness or tingling,
- muscle weakness, and
- limp feeling
- rigid muscles,
- white patches or sores inside your mouth or on your lips,
