CeeNU (lomustine capsules)

CeeNU (lomustine) is a cancer (antineoplastic) medication used to treat brain tumors and Hodgkin's disease, and is sometimes given with other cancer medications.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • chills,
  • tiredness,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • trouble swallowing,
  • sore throat,
  • little or no urination,
  • swelling in your feet or ankles,
  • chest pain
  • unusual bleeding (nose, mouth, vagina, or rectum),
  • red or swollen gums,
  • new or worsening cough, and
  • blisters or ulcers in your mouth,
  • purple or red pinpoint sports under the skin,
  • shortness of breath (may develop as long as 6 months or later after taking the medication),
