Catapres (clonidine)

Catapres (clonidine hydrochloride) is a centrally acting alpha-agonist hypotensive agent used to treat hypertension. Catapres is available as a generic named clonidine (tablets and patches).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache,
- lightheadedness,
- dizziness,
- diarrhea,
- constipation,
- increased thirst,
- fever,
- stomach pain,
- dry mouth,
- tiredness,
- mood changes,
- drowsiness,
- sneezing,
- sore throat.
