Casporyn HC (neomycin and polymyxin B sulfates and hydrocortisone otic suspension) is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory suspension used for the treatment of superficial bacterial infections of the external auditory (ear) canal caused by organisms susceptible to the action of the antibiotics, and for the treatment of infections of mastoidectomy and fenestration cavities caused by organisms susceptible to the antibiotics.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• vomiting,
• lightheadedness,
• shortness of breath,
• confusion,
• seizure,
• weight gain,
• swelling,
• little or no urination,
• increased thirst,
• mood changes,
• drowsiness,
• ringing in your ears,
• spinning sensation,
• weak or shallow breathing,
• hearing problems,
• trouble walking,
• muscle twitching,
• diarrhea that is watery or bloody
• loss of balance or coordination,
• feeling of fullness in the ears,
• numbness or tingly feeling under your skin,
• severe stomach cramps, and
