Duopa (carbidopa and levodopa enteral suspension)

Duopa (carbidopa and levodopa) is a combination of an inhibitor of aromatic amino acid decarboxylation and an aromatic amino acid used to treat motor fluctuations in patients with advanced Parkinson's disease.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• rash,
• fever,
• dizziness,
• constipation,
• upper respiratory tract infection,
• high blood pressure,
• anxiety,
• depression,
• indigestion
• mouth and throat pain,
• diarrhea, and
• sleep problems,
• complication of device insertion,
• swelling of legs and feet,
• incision site redness,
• involuntary muscle movements,
• confusion,
