Equetro (carbamazepine xr)

Equetro (carbamazepine xr) is an anticonvulsant (anti-seizure) medication used to treat seizures and nerve pain such as trigeminal neuralgia and diabetic neuropathy. Equetro is also used to treat bipolar disorder.

The drug is often used to treat Bipolar disorder , Trigeminal neuralgia .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • fever,
  • swollen glands,
  • easy bruising,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • muscle aches,
  • headache,
  • agitation,
  • restlessness,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • sore throat,
  • skin pain,
  • mouth sores,
  • right-sided upper stomach pain,
  • anxiety,
  • irritableness,
  • hostility,
  • insomnia,
  • depression,
  • burning in your eyes,
  • severe weakness,
  • unusual bruising,
  • yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
  • sudden mood or behavior changes,
  • slow, fast, or pounding heartbeats,
  • bleeding gums,
  • nosebleeds,
  • feeling unsteady, and
  • increased seizures
  • thoughts about self-harm,
  • skin rash (no matter how minor),
