Cancidas (caspofungin acetate) is an antifungal antibiotic used to treat fungal infections that involve the stomach, lungs, esophagus, or other internal body areas.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- dark urine,
- clay-colored stools, and
- fever,
- confusion,
- chills,
- body aches,
- tiredness,
- weakness,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- flu symptoms,
- increased urination,
- muscle weakness,
- muscle cramps,
- swelling in your hands or feet,
- extreme thirst,
- burning in your eyes,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- limp feeling,
- pain, swelling, or vein irritation around the IV needle,
- pounding or uneven heartbeats,
- uneven heart rate,
- leg discomfort,
