Canasa (mesalamine)

Canasa (mesalamine) is an anti-inflammatory drug used to treat ulcerative colitis, proctitis, and proctosigmoiditis. Canasa is also used to prevent the symptoms of ulcerative colitis from recurring.
The drug is often used to treat Ulcerative colitis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- sore throat,
- constipation,
- fever,
- skin rash.
- flu symptoms,
- gas,
- stomach pain or cramps,
- tired feeling, or
- rectal pain,
- pain when inserting the suppository,
