Invokana (canagliflozin tablets)

Invokana (canagliflozin) is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor used to control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, in addition to diet and exercise.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- back pain,
- swelling,
- painful urination,
- increased thirst,
- frequent urination,
- vaginal itching,
- weight gain
- unusual tiredness or weakness,
- swelling of your tongue, mouth or throat,
- bloody or cloudy urine,
- decreased amount of urine,
- pain during intercourse,
- pain, redness and itching of the penis,
- vaginal discharge, and
