Invokamet (canagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride tablets)
type of Antidiabetics, SGLT2 Inhibitors
Invokamet (canagliflozin and metformin hydrochloride) contains two antihyperglycemic drugs used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who are not adequately controlled on a regimen containing metformin or canagliflozin, or in patients who are already treated with both canagliflozin and metformin.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- tiredness,
- stomach pain,
- chest pain,
- dizziness,
- weakness,
- little or no urination,
- muscle weakness,
- irregular heartbeats,
- feeling cold,
- unusual drowsiness,
- pain or burning when you urinate,
- feeling unwell,
- tingly feeling,
- unusual muscle pain,
- irregular heart rate,
- new pain, tenderness, sores, ulcers, or infections in your legs or feet,
- urine that looks cloudy, and
- pain in the pelvis or back
