Calcium Disodium Versenate (edetate calcium disodium) Injection is a chelating agent used to treat lead poisoning.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • chills,
  • little or no urination,
  • mood changes,
  • trouble concentrating,
  • irritableness
  • numbness or tingly feeling,
  • pink or red urine,
  • feeling very thirsty,
  • changes in behavior or mental status, and
