Eliphos (calcium acetate tablets)

Eliphos (calcium acetate tablets) is a phosphate binder indicated for the reduction of serum phosphorus in patients with end stage renal disease.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • confusion,
  • constipation,
  • muscle weakness,
  • increased thirst or urination,
  • bone pain,
  • lack of energy, and
  • tired feeling
The following drugs are related to Eliphos, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Phoslo (calcium acetate tablet)
  • Glofil-125 (sodium iothalamate i-125 injection solution)
