Vectical Ointment (calcitriol ointment)

Vectical (calcitriol ointment) topical (for the skin) is a form of Vitamin D used to treat plaque psoriasis (raised, silvery flaking of the skin) in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • vomiting,
  • tiredness,
  • constipation,
  • muscle weakness,
  • confusion, and
  • increased thirst or urination,
  • lack of energy,
  • bone pain
  • blistering, or severe redness, itching, or other irritation of treated areas,
  • worsening symptoms or no improvement in psoriasis,
