Dovonex Ointment (calcipotriene ointment)

Dovonex (calcipotriene) is a synthetic topical (for the skin) form of vitamin D used to treat plaque psoriasis (psoriasis with scaly patches). Dovonex is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Psoriasis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- burning,
- itching,
- irritation,
- rash,
- redness,
- dry skin, or
- peeling at the application site.
