Rayaldee (calcifediol) extended-release capsules is a vitamin D3 analog indicated for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in adults with stage 3 or 4 chronic kidney disease and serum total 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels less than 30 ng/mL.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• vomiting,
• pale skin,
• shortness of breath,
• weight loss,
• confusion,
• tiredness,
• constipation,
• swelling,
• unusual tiredness,
• rapid weight gain,
• increased thirst or urination,
• lightheadedness, and
• cold hands and feet
