Cometriq (cabozantinib capsules)

Cometriq (cabozantinib) capsules are kinase inhibitors used to treat people with medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) that has spread to other parts of the body.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • lightheadedness,
  • confusion,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • chest pain,
  • dizziness,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • fainting,
  • weakness,
  • cough,
  • sore throat,
  • mouth sores,
  • seizures,
  • severe stomach pain,
  • problems with vision or balance,
  • extreme tiredness,
  • trouble breathing,
  • vision changes,
  • bloody or tarry stools,
  • vomit that looks like coffee grounds,
  • skin sores,
  • red or swollen gums,
  • thinking problems,
  • choking or gagging when you eat or drink,
  • pounding in your necks or ears,
  • constipation that are severe and ongoing,
  • swelling in your hands, arms, legs, or feet,
  • cough with bloody mucus,
  • pain, blisters, bleeding, or severe rash in the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet,
  • jaw pain or numbness,
  • loose teeth,
  • slow healing after dental work,
  • sudden numbness or weakness on one side of your body,
  • trouble speaking or understanding what is said to your,
  • trouble breathing, and
  • swelling or pain in an arm or leg
