Cablivi (caplacizumab-yhdp injection)
type of Monoclonal Antibodies
Cablivi (caplacizumab-yhdp) is a von Willebrand factor (vWF)-directed antibody fragment indicated for the treatment of adult patients with acquired thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (aTTP), in combination with plasma exchange and immunosuppressive therapy.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding (nosebleeds, bleeding gums),
- bloody or tarry stools,
- any bleeding that will not stop,
- coughing up blood, and
- vomit that looks like coffee grounds
- unusual vaginal bleeding,
The following drugs are related to Cablivi, either as a replacement or used together:
- Vegzelma (bevacizumab-adcd injection)
- Tavalisse (fostamatinib disodium hexahydrate tablets, for oral use)
- Jaypirca (pirtobrutinib tablets)
