Ruconest (C1 esterase inhibitor [recombinant]) Intravenous Injection is a C1 esterase inhibitor [recombinant] indicated for the treatment of acute attacks in adult and adolescent patients with hereditary angioedema (HAE).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- fast heartbeats,
- wheezing,
- chest tightness,
- blue lips or gums,
- pain, swelling, warmth, or redness in an arm or leg,
- sudden severe headache,
- fast heart rate
- problems with vision, speech, or balance,
- chest pain while taking deep breaths, and
- sudden numbness or weakness (on one side of the body),
