Bylvay (odevixibat) is an ileal bile acid transporter (IBAT) inhibitor used to treat itching (pruritus) in patients 3 months of age and older with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- increased thirst,
- lightheadedness
- decreased urination,
- severe dizziness,
- fast heartbeat, and
- unusual dry mouth,
