Bydureon Bcise (exenatide extended-release) is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • dizziness,
  • swelling,
  • headache,
  • sweating,
  • trouble swallowing,
  • little or no urination,
  • painful or difficult urination,
  • swelling in your feet or ankles,
  • anxiety,
  • irritability,
  • pain,
  • fast heart rate,
  • hunger,
  • yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • shortness of breath
  • severe ongoing nausea,
  • warmth,
  • hoarse voice,
  • bruising,
  • tiredness, and
  • swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
  • open wound or scab,
  • skin changes where the injection was given,
  • pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
  • shakiness,

  • Brenzavvy (bexagliflozin tablets)
  • Qternmet XR (dapagliflozin, saxagliptin, and metformin hydrochloride)
