Bydureon Bcise (exenatide extended-release) is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- unusual bleeding,
- dizziness,
- swelling,
- headache,
- sweating,
- trouble swallowing,
- little or no urination,
- painful or difficult urination,
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- anxiety,
- irritability,
- pain,
- fast heart rate,
- hunger,
- yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice),
- shortness of breath
- severe ongoing nausea,
- warmth,
- hoarse voice,
- bruising,
- tiredness, and
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- open wound or scab,
- skin changes where the injection was given,
- pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
- shakiness,
