Mentax (butenafine HCl) is a topical (for the skin) antifungal medication used to treat athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and
- severe blistering, itching, redness, peeling, dryness, or irritation of treated skin
