Forfivo XL (bupropion hydrochloride) Extended-release is an antidepressant of the aminoketone class indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder. Forfivo XL is available as a generic termed bupropion.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • fever,
  • swollen glands,
  • confusion,
  • seizure,
  • blurred vision,
  • agitation,
  • restlessness,
  • sore throat,
  • burning eyes,
  • skin pain,
  • red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
  • anxiety,
  • panic attacks,
  • trouble sleeping,
  • impulsive behavior,
  • irritableness,
  • hostility,
  • aggression,
  • hyperactivity (mentally or physically),
  • increased depression,
  • thoughts of self-harm,
  • mood or behavior changes,
  • depression,
  • unusual changes in mood or behavior,
  • eye pain or swelling,
  • tunnel vision,
  • seeing halos around lights,
  • racing thoughts,
  • reckless behavior,
  • increased energy,
  • talking more than usual, and
  • severe problems with sleep
  • fast or irregular heartbeats,
  • feelings of extreme happiness or irritableness,
